Tampa, FL — Sept. 11, 2017 — Pilgrim Quality Solutions, a leading global provider of enterprise quality management software and services for the Life Sciences, today announced it will present an upcoming live webcast, hosted by the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), on the increasing importance of global supplier performance optimization across the medical device manufacturing industry.
The webinar, Global Supplier Performance throughout the Product Lifecycle and the Regulations Driving Change, on September 14, 2017, will examine the need for organizations to integrate new value-chain partners into their existing supplier networks as their global operations and product distribution expand to new markets.
“As a company’s global presence grows, it will become increasingly critical to monitor the effectiveness of all its suppliers to ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and quality, as well as to maintain and optimize their own costs,” said Kari Miller, Product and Regulatory Management Leader for Pilgrim Quality Solutions.
“Business process automation, when managed in accordance with solid quality and compliance standards, enables supplier effectiveness monitoring, and therefore compliance across the global organization,” she added.
During the webinar, Ms. Miller will address how companies can improve supplier performance based on industry examples, including a look at the regulatory updates that are driving the need for supplier inclusion; visualization of global data and measurements; and, integrating quality and compliance systems with other mission-critical systems.
